Foshan City is the capital of ceramic industry, not only in China, but also the world. Ceramic industry is a polluting and high energy consumption sector. The local government want to adjust the industrial structure, make headquarters economy in Foshan. So it push the ceramic manufacturer move their factories out from Foshan, just keep the headquarters and showroom in Foshan. Now the big manufacturer have to look for another production base in China. Jiangxi Province, HuNan province is the hot choice. They are nearby the raw material and abundant resources. And the local government also warmly welcome these manufacturers to invest in their area, they promise to give a preferential policy. In fact, the promise is only from the leader in the local government, when he promote to a higher position to another place, the successor always ditch his pledge.
Now in HuNan province, local Mafia-style organization illegally monopolize the resources, interfere with the manufacturers. One big manufacturer from Foshan can not stand for the situation, they report to the local government. But there is no answer and no action from the government, at last the manufacturer have to organized more than 100 people in Foshan as a anti-mafia team to fight with the criminal force.
Things don’t come singly but in pairs, another big manufacture invested a new factory in HuNan province meet the same situation. The inaction of local government let the factory adopt counterviolence to protect themselves.
Above have been reported by the local newspaper. It is a rather disappointed news for the Foshan Manufacturers. I am wondering who is the poor bunny?
